Richmond is on The Road to Revolution with Patrick Henry

“Give me liberty or give me death!” the famous words of Patrick Henry rang through St. John’s Episcopal Church in 1775.  Virginia has designated a “Road to Revolution” consisting of 10 sites that played a key role in shaping Patrick Henry and his ideals. Meet President George Washington In Richmond

Presidents’ Day, Monday, February 15th, 2010 is your chance to meet President George Washington in Richmond, Virginia.  The former President will use the opportunity of the 278th anniversary of his birth to hold court  in Church Hill, just east down Broad Street from our B&B. He will entertain visitors at St. John’s Church from 11 to 11:30 AM and from 1 to 1:30 PM. Refreshments will be served at the Visitor’s Center. Admission fee $5.
